GTR CONFERENCE &
GAME SELECTION PROCESS

ACCESS & INFO

The Global Top Round Conference is an exclusive industry event for game developers, publishers, and experts from all over the world. But, this is not just a conference; it’s also where we’ll be selecting and announcing the studios that will receive funding and be inducted into the GTR acceleration program!

Studios can apply through the Global Top Round application page. After an evaluation period and an initial selection process, the Top 20 selected studios will be invited to our GTR Conference to represent their games and interface with our partners and mentors for the first time.

ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS

1. application Process

Game studios will be able to submit applications for admission to the GTR Acceleration program on the official Global Top Round webpage. Eligible games should have a playable build, demo, vertical slice or full game and a long-term company plan and launched in no more than one market globally.

2. game evaluation and Selection

After the submissions window closes, the GTR ecosystem will play and evaluate each project, rating titles on a number of metrics. The studios responsible for the top eligible games will be invited to the GTR Conference.

3. Conference invitation and attendance

Selected studios will be invited to Global Top Round conference. Airfare and accommodations(limited to USD 2,000) will be provided for up to two representatives per selected studio.

4. CONFERENCE & MEET UP

Studios, mentors, and publishers will be able to attend our speaker sessions and have the opportunity to get to know each other during the GTR Conference.

  • Information sessions about GTR and our selected studios
  • Networking events and parties

5. GAME SHOWROOM AND PITCHES

Our invited studios will be asked to showcase their games in our Game Showroom for all attendees to see and play. In the showroom, attendees (including invited developers) will be able to experience all of the games, and give on-the-spot expert feedback to all participants.

6. EVALUATION AND TOP10 ANNOUNCEMENT

The GTR core team and all participants are involved in the game evaluation. GTR will announce GTR Top10 games at the end of the conference. Top10 studios are eligible for discussing investment with GTR. The GTR core team will visit each studio for due diligence after the GTR conference. GTR will finally decide on the investment and acceleration program after each studio visit.
